Sometime during Lent, one of the priests will come to the fifth grade
                                of the parish school and the CCD to talk to the students about
                                becoming altar servers at mass.  Boys and girls who are interested
                                must first get their parents to commit to bringing them to church
                                when they are scheduled to serve.  After giving their names to their
                                teacher, they will be informed about the time and place for their training. 
                                For their first assignments, the new volunteers will be paired with
                                experienced servers.
